Charles Webster, 75, of Rome, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026. He was a proud member of the Oneida Nation Wolf Clan.

Born on August 1, 1950, in Syracuse, New York, Charles was the son of the late Charles and Kathryn Webster.

Charles was a kindhearted, easygoing man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed taking walks, riding his bicycle, visiting the casino, and making annual trips to the New York State Fair. He loved gathering with family and friends, where he was known for singing and bringing smiles to those around him. Charles never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and was a loyal friend to many. He also had a special love for animals, especially his beloved cat.

Charles was predeceased by his son, Charles Webster III; his sister, Cynthia Denise; and his brother, Erwin Webster.

He is survived by his loving partner, Cecilia Diabo; his brothers, John Webster and Elwood (Pat) Webster; his sister, Lorna Jones; his grandchildren, Charles Webster IV, Niya, and Cameron Webster; his great-grandchild and many other great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including Jamie, Cindy, Johnny, Jody, Kaylee, Samantha, Justin, Skyaylah, Jistowe, Romen, John, Jack Jack, Chief John Logan, Christina, and several others.

Family and friends are invited to call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse. A funeral service will immediately follow the calling hours.

Charles will be remembered for his gentle spirit, generous heart, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
