Christopher Joseph Ineich, a beloved chef and cherished family man, passed away on August 21, 2025, in his hometown of Syracuse, NY. Born on November 15, 1978, Christopher brought joy to everyone around him with his vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor.
Christopher dedicated himself to the culinary arts, showcasing his talents at numerous establishments, including Chili's, Texas Roadhouse, The Marina, and The Cicero American Legion. His passion for cooking was evident in every dish he created, as he took great pleasure in bringing people together through food.
Known for his playful spirit, Christopher always strived to make others laugh. His family and friends fondly remember him for his crazy sense of humor and the warmth he spread, often finding joy in sharing light-hearted moments with those he loved. He was not only a talented chef but also a devoted husband and father, and his legacy will undoubtedly be carried on through the memories shared by all who knew him.
Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Julia Leonardo-Ineich, and his children, Joshua Ineich and Jeffrey Stahl. He leaves behind his step-children, Lynda Gilsey, Kevin Mayer, Kayla Houghton, Serenity Houghton, and Ashlynn Houghton, as well as his step-grandson, Jordan. Additionally, he is lovingly remembered by his adoptive mother, Pamela Scheel, along with his adoptive siblings, Tina Charette, Christina Green, Amie Towndrow, Tanya Fields, and Melissa Mandigo. Christopher is also survived by his parents-in-law, Linda and Richard Mayer, and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Rosco, Coco Bear, Rocky and Bella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Deborah Waddington and Ronald Ineich, whose love and guidance shaped him into the remarkable individual he became and his Grandma Ineich.
A visitation will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in Syracuse, NY, on September 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location starting at 6:00 PM. As family and friends gather to celebrate Christopher's life, let us remember the laughter he brought to our lives and the love he shared with all who were fortunate enough to know him.
