Cid T. Ellison Jr.

Cid T. Ellison Jr, 39, passed away unexpectedly on September 9, 2025 in Syracuse, NY.

Cid was born in Syracuse, NY to Linda Mims and Cid Ellison Sr. He was almost a New Year’s baby born January 2, 1986. He graduated from Liverpool High School.

 He is well known for his kindness, his ability to make others laugh, his determination to keep others happy and his deep love for his family. Cid adored his nieces and nephews, they were his babies. His family was his whole world. He called them “the crazies”, but he loved being around them and talking to them.

 Cid had a passion for music. He loved making music, listening to music, and just having a great time. Cid had the brightest smile and a laugh that was contagious. Cid had a love for video games and whooping your tail in 2K. Cid was a Momma’s boy. He loved her more than anyone in this world (next to his nana) that is a bond that will never be broken. Cid was a lover. He loved with all his heart. He had a very close bond with his sister

Cid is preceded in death by his grandmothers; Shirley Bryant and Joyce Jimmerson.

Cid is survived by his mother, Linda Mims (Troy Mims); father, Cid Ellison; sister, Jasmin Clark (Jonathan Clark); brother, Christopher Crawford; his nieces, Maelei Brewer, Ni’Asia Moreno; nephews, Zahir Clark-Brewer, Landon Davis and Jason Davis, as well as many other family and friends who he loved dearly.

There will not be a public viewing, please respect the family’s privacy as we will have a visitation hour for close family and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212 on Monday, September 22 from 12-1pm. Funeral Services will follow at 1pm. Please come and celebrate his life.

 The family has requested that you wear the color lilac.
