Daniel F. Covich

Daniel F. Covich, 75 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026. He was born in Syracuse, NY on February 27, 1951 to the late Stanley and Nora Covich of Lyncourt.

 He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist for Eaton-Crouse Hinds for over 30 years. He was passionate about photography, especially taking pictures of eagles.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Denise Covich; daughter, Danielle Covich; brothers, Robert (Sandra) Covich, James Covich, David Covich, Patrick Covich; aunt, Marlene and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 4-6pm. Military Honors will follow at 6pm.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
