Daniel J. Block 39, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday. He was employed by the Syracuse City School District and was a Lieutenant with the Onondaga County Auxiliary Police.
He is survived by his mother, Gilda (Chris) LeBlanc; father, Daniel W. Block; sister, Annmarie (Paul) Maroney; niece, Stella; nephew, Mason; extended family, friends and longtime friend, Anna Dembosky.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 5th 3-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNY SPCA.
