Daniel Murphy

Daniel J. Murphy, 78, of Cicero, passed away on December 1, 2025. Daniel was born in Syracuse, New York on May 10, 1947 to the late Daniel and Irene Murphy.

Daniel retired after 33 years of service at New Process Gear and he had also worked at Adesa of Syracuse. He was a Corvette fan and attended the Nationals every season at the Fairgrounds. He enjoyed walks with his dog, Maggie, arranging his garden, and swimming in his pool. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Lizbeth A. Murphy; two daughters, Michelle (Clint) O'Leary and Jennifer Farr; step-daughter, Denise Ball; step-son, William (Cynthia) Reschke; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Patricia Leonard , Kathleen Albanese, and Michael Murphy.

Services will be held privately for the family.
