Danielle Lynn Nickels

Danielle Lynn Nickels, born January 27, 1985, in Syracuse, NY, passed away on April 3, 2026. Danielle was a remarkable individual known for her cool and hip demeanor, combined with a sharp wit, intelligence, loyalty, and a strong-willed nature. 

Danielle had a deep appreciation for music and photography, interests that reflected her creative spirit. She also engaged in various crafts, including painting, which showcased her artistic talents and added to the richness of her life experiences. Her dedication to these pursuits demonstrated her multifaceted character and love for creative expression.

Throughout her life, Danielle was immensely proud of her roles as a wonderful daughter and mother. She took great pride in her family and the bonds she nurtured with those closest to her.

She is survived by her loving mother, Kellie Nickels, and father, Robert Nickels. Danielle was also a mother to her children, Jordan Darling and Damien Owens, and a grandmother to her grandson, Bentley. 

Danielle was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Murphy; her grandfather, Frank Hansen; and her aunt, Ellen Houck. Their memories remain a treasured part of her family history.

A visitation to honor Danielle’s life will be held on April 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to come together to remember her and celebrate her legacy.

Danielle Lynn Nickels’ life was defined by her strength, her creativity, and her unwavering commitment to those she loved. She leaves behind a lasting impact on all who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift.
