Darien Fleurisma

Darien Fleurisma, 61, of Syracuse, passed away on June 8, 2026. Darien was born in Syracuse, New York, on January 30, 1965, to the late Maynard and Darlene Gabriel and lived in Akwesasne and Kahnawake.

Darien was loving, caring, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was the life of the party, quick witted and had a remarkable ability to make everyone around her laugh. She loved hula dancing and will be remembered for her contagious laughter, radiant smile, and the enormous love she shared with others.

She was predeceased by her father, Maynard Garbiel; and mother, Darlene Darrow.

Darien is survived by her loving companion, Frankie Delisle; her sister, Kalen (Matthew) St. Dennis; three brothers; her special niece, Zoe Gordon; several nieces and nephews; and her favorite uncle, Uncle Pony (Maxine).

There will be no services, as per Darien's wishes.
