David Santee Sr., a beloved father and grandfather, passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on March 29,1948, David led a life characterized by simplicity and kindness. Known for his quiet demeanor, he preferred to keep to himself but always found moments to demonstrate his kindness to others.

Throughout his life, David worked various jobs, one of which included following the Wheelock Carnival, where he sold goods to delighted patrons. His strong work ethic and dedication were evident in everything he did.

An avid New York Yankees fan, David found joy in the excitement of baseball. He also cherished the time spent fishing and hunting at Goose Bay..

David is survived by his three children: David (Robin) Santee Jr., Chris Santee, and Kevin Santee; six grandchildren, Julia, Tyler, Christian, David, Caitlin, and Lana; as well as his sister, Sharon Ruiz. He was preceded in death by his grandchild, Kevin Jr.; his parents, Stanley and Florence Santee; and his brother, Stan Santee. David's legacy will continue through the love and memories shared by his family and friends.

Calling Hours will be held on September 15, 2025, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate his life.
