Deborah J. Gettman-Deal

Deborah J. Gettman-Deal, 66 of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026. She was born in Syracuse, NY on August 10, 1960 to the late Charles H. and Vera C. Gettman.

 She was a graduate of CW Baker High School, Baldwinsville.

 She worked for Loretto as a Resident Counselor for 26 years. Deborah loved going to camp with her boyfriend, Dave, riding motorcycles, her dog’s, Daisy and Boots and spending time with family and friends.

 She is survived by her stepchildren, Lacy Deal and Richard Deal Jr.; sisters, Jeri Flandera, Judy Fisher, Irena Phillips and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by her best friend, Linda Pack and her boyfriend, Dave Solomon.

 Predeceased by her husband, Richard (2019) and her brother, Tom Gettman.

 Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 6-8pm. Graveside will be private.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice, CNY.
