Deborah Anne Horner

Deborah Anne (Mathews) Horner was born to Ruth and Francis Mathews on 9/20/1953. She died on 7/19/2025 in Rochester, the victim of Lewy Body Dementia.

She was a graduate of St. John the Baptist Academy in Syracuse where she met her life long friends, Dede, Mary, Cathy and Bobbie. She went on to graduate from SUNY Oswego with a degree in speech therapy. Her married life took her to Georgia (where she co-owned a craft store) and Maine. She was a care giver firstly to her parents and then to a wide variety of folks in need.

She is survived by her brothers, Wayne (Dinea) Brazil, and Ron (Mary Ellen), Rochester; her nieces, Su (Brooks) Hale, Maura (Michael) Hartman, Maira Mathews, Tainá Mathews;  nephews, Andrew (Carrie) Mathews, Mark (Megan) Mathews, Kai Mathews and their families

Services will be private.
