Deborah Anne Horner

Deborah Anne (Mathews) Horner was born to Ruth and Francis Mathews on 9/20/1953. She died on 7/19/2025 in Rochester, the victim of Lewy Body Dementia.

She was a graduate of St. John the Baptist Academy in Syracuse where she met her life long friends, Dede, Mary, Cathy and Bobbie. She went on to graduate from SUNY Oswego with a degree in speech therapy. Her married life took her to Georgia (where she co-owned a craft store) and Maine. She was a care giver firstly to her parents and then to a wide variety of folks in need.

She is survived by her brothers Wayne (Dinea), Brazil, and Ron (Mary Ellen), Rochester, her nieces Su (Brooks) Hale, Maura (Michael) Hartman, Maira Mathews, Tainá Mathews, nephews, Andrew (Carrie) Mathews, Mark (Megan) Mathews, Kai Mathews and their families
