Debra A. Stanton

Debra A. Stanton, 62, of Syracuse, passed away October 11, 2026. Debra was born in Syracuse, New York on September 9, 1964 to Robert and Irene Stanton. Debra had previously been employed at Wegmans. Deb was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, loved playing cards, loved spending time with family and friends. She was a comedian and liked to make people laugh. She loved everyone and liked to make people happy. She especially enjoyed time spent with her granddaughter often calling it "grandmother-granddaughter day".

Deb was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Nicole Snyder.  She was also predeceased by her former companion, Casimir Snyder, Sr.

She is survived by three sons, Nicholas (Shakelia) Snyder, Michael Laforce, Casimir Snyder, Jr.; granddaughter, Talena Tulloch; two sisters, Theresa Waldron and Susan Statnton; three brothers, David Vanvolkenburgh,  Henry (Hank) Chmielewski and Robert Stanton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially Mark Waldron Jr.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 15 , 2026 from 9am-12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A Sharing of Memories will take place at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Belle Isle Cemetery, Warners, NY.
