Denella E. Kuss

Denella E. Kuss, 82, of Cicero, passed away May 22, 2026. Denella was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on April 15, 1944. 

Denella worked for many years at the OnCenter. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking. Denella was a fantastic cook. She loved listening to music, dancing, and most importantly she loved spending time with you her family.

Denella was predeceased by her mother Ester Carr; her daughter, Dawn Lopergolo; and her granddaughter, April Lopergolo.

She is survived by her significant other, Edward Wheeler; daughters, Charo Lopergolo, Candace Gonyea; son, Arthur (Lisa Carr) Cole, Richard (Eileen) Lopergolo; grandchildren, Jah’La, Brittany Lopergolo, Brooke Lopergolo, Damian (Kaetlynn) Lopergolo, Louis Hart, Roma’o Lopergolo, Heather and Bobby Kenney and Brandon Cole.

Calling hours are Thursday from 3-4pm with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212.
