Dennis F. Birchmeyer

Dennis F. Birchmeyer, 76, of East Syracuse, passed away August 31, 2026. Dennis was born in Syracuse, New York on March 16, 1950 to Howard and Lottie Birchmeyer. Dennis had been self-employed as a contractor providing roofing and home remodeling services. In his free time, Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, antique collecting, casino gambling, home projects and loved Patriots football. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his beloved dog, Boris. Dennis served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a proud veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard F. and Lottie M. Birchmeyer; two brothers, Thomas Birchmeyer and David Birchmeyer.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda (Carr) Birchmeyer, daughter Christine Birchmeyer; two brothers, Paul Birchmeyer and Michael Birchmeyer; two sisters, Suzanne Catalano and Brenda Giacchi; two grandchildren, Emily and Gio; one great grandchild, Luca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm.
