Dinone Stanton, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 69.
Born on June 24, 1956, Dinone enjoyed a fulfilling career, retiring after 18 dedicated years as a private client banker, where she made a lasting impact on her clients and colleagues alike.
Dinone, affectionately known as "Aunt Noney," was a vibrant and outgoing individual who brought joy to everyone she met. Her personable nature and giving spirit were evident in every interaction, and her vast knowledge across many subjects captivated those around her. She had an extraordinary love for music, easily recalling the words and the artists to every song that played on her favorite radio station.
In addition to her musical passion, Dinone cherished spending the holidays surrounded by her family, creating warm memories that will forever be held dear. She had a profound love for nature, finding solace in the beauty of the world around her, particularly in the vibrant colors of roses and sunflowers. An avid reader, Dinone's thirst for knowledge and adventure enriched her life and the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Dinone's devotion to animals was as strong as her affectionate connections with her family. Her capacity for love extended beyond her immediate circle, reaching many friends who will remember her kindness and unwavering support.
She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Keith Stanton; her mother, Martha Davis; her sister, Faye (Wayne) Rheaume; nephews Craig (Nikki) Rheaume and Chris (Megan) Rheaume; sister-in-law Candace (Gary) Hart; brother-in-law Edwin (Mary) Stanton; mother-in-law Esther Stanton; as well as many friends who held a special place in her heart.
Dinone was preceded in death by her father, Robert Davis; her son, Dylan McCain; her first husband, Tom McCain; and her brothers, Eugene and William Davis.
Her Visitation will be held on August 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service starting at 7:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212.
Dinone Stanton will be remembered for her generosity, love, and the laughter she shared with all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy will endure through the countless memories created during her extraordinary life.
