Donna M. Barnes, 69, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday at James Square Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born to Frederic and Mae Winchell on September 11, 1943 in Watertown, NY.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 47 years, Michael Barnes Sr., her son, Michael Jr., 2 daughters; Stephanie (Guy) Ruffo, Jennifer Leonard, daughter-in-law Maureen Barnes, 5 grandchildren; Dustin, Kristopher, Jacob, Madison, Alexander, great granddaughter, Olivia, and 2 brothers, Richard & Frederic Winchell.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services at 7pm.
