Donna M. Tripp

Donna Tripp, 91, of North Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2025. She was born in Homer, NY on August 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Corl. Donna enjoyed golfing, reading books, dancing and music. For her 90th birthday, she had a party with her favorite Elvis impersonator and his band, along with over 100 family and friends that came from across the country to celebrate with her. Donna and her late husband Frank, owned and Operated Spruce Grove Marina and campground in Constantia, NY for 28 years. Donna ran a Diner at Spruce Grove where her pies, bean soup and square hamburgers were legendary.

Donna is survived by her children, Jim (Karen) Barney and Linda (Leo) Kukko; her brother, Jim ( Luella Miller ) Corl; 8 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna was predeceased by her husband, Frank Tripp; son, Mark Barney; her great grandson, Frank Barney; parents, Frank and Dorothy Corl; sister's, Connie Capp and Karen Colin.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, on June 8th from 11 - 12:30pm, with a service to follow at the funeral home. The burial will be made in Elmwood Cemetery, 6904 NY-281, Preble, NY immediately after the service.
