Doreen B. Owusu, 37 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026 with her family by her side. She was born in Accra, Ghana on February 17, 1989 to Christian and Yaa Owusu.
She worked at University Hospital at Upstate for 6 years.
Doreen loved traveling, exploring and she was a generous person who was proud of her Ghanaian heritage.
She is survived by her son, Obrempong Owusu Agyemang; parents, Christian and Yaa Owusu and sister, Esther (Prince Mireku) Owusu.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 10am-1pm. Funeral Services will follow at 1pm. Burial will take place after at Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
