Doris Vakula, 96, of North Syracuse, passed away on Sunday May 28th, at her home. Doris was born in Newark Valley, NY on November 8, 1926. Doris was an honor student through school and was a volunteer teacher in her high school and later received her Nursing Degree in 1948. Doris was predeceased by her husband George in 2014.
She is survived by sons, Aaron Vakula, Mark Vakula.
Visitation will be held on Sunday June 4th from 2-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
