Elizabeth "Libby"  A. Johst, 82, of Williamstown, passed away January 18, 2026. Elizabeth was born in Syracuse, New York on September 24, 1943 to Leonard and Sarah Rayder. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren; she loved to shop and go to garage sales and had been a member of the CNY Street Rods Association.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Sarah L. Rayder; Father, Leonard Rayder; Husband, Edward W. Johst; Two Brothers, Kevin Rayder, Douglas Muckey; special niece Sarah McCullagh.

She is survived by her Son, William (Valerie) Johst; Two Daughters, Penny (Paul) Allen, Tracie (Bobby) Tilden; Brother, David (Jane) Rayder; Two Sisters, Virginia (Eddie) LaBreck, Winnie (Michael) McCullagh; 10 grandchildren, Mariah, Trevor, Erich (Eva), Alicia, Kyle (Leandra), Bobby Jr., Joey, Justin (Tracy), Jeffrey, Jordon (Grace), a bonus grandson, Jason; 15 great grandchildren, Jayden, Alexis, Erich, Laura, Kyle-Leigh, Sadie, Aubrie, Alexis, Payten, Melody, Harmony, Bradley and Bobby, III, Avery and Olivia, many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her special dog Sassy.

At Elizabeth's request, there will be no funeral services.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 12 to 4 PM at Williamstown American Legion, 8 Vida Drive, Williamstown, NY.
