Born on January 23, 1949, in the lands of Austria-Hungary, Elizabeth's journey through life was as rich and rooted as the gardens she so lovingly tended.

Her gentle spirit and warm heart were gifts to all who knew her, leaving an impression that words struggle to capture. Elizabeth’s essence was defined by her boundless capacity for love—qualities that endeared her deeply to family and friends alike. She carried herself with a grace that was both calming and inspiring, a beacon of warmth in the often cold march of time.

Her early years were enriched by education, studying at Center College in West Virginia and later at Tompkins Cortland Community College in Dryden, where she cultivated not only knowledge but also a lifelong passion for learning and the arts. Elizabeth’s hands were constant creators—sewing delicate fabrics, crafting beautiful arts and crafts, and whipping up culinary delights that warmed both stomach and soul. Gardening was her sanctuary, a place where the rhythms of nature soothed her heart and the sight of thriving plants gave her immense joy. Among her daily joys were her beloved cats, companions with whom she shared quiet moments and endless affection.

Elizabeth was a devoted mother whose love blossomed further in the lives of her daughters, Jennifer (Krishna) Kumar and Deborah (Michael) Stevenson. Through them, her legacy continued to grow, nurtured by the laughter and light of her grandchildren, Skye and Britney, and the tender new life of her great-grandchild, Maverick. Their presence is a living testament to the love and warmth Elizabeth poured into the world, a living memory that will endure far beyond this mortal farewell.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
