Elmer E. Foote, 87, of Baldwinsville, passed away at home on Monday. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW both in Phoenix and an avid sportsman. He retired from Syracuse University in 1988. Elmer was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy. He is predeceased by a daughter, April Piston.
He is survived by his children, Marya Katz, Robin (Michael) Begnoche, Wayne (Joyce) Foote and Scott (Theresa) Foote; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Calling hour will be Tuesday from 5-6 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse. Services will follow at 6 PM.
