Elpis (Timotheatos) Voutsinas, 95, of Liverpool, passed away June 10, 2025 at her home peacefully surrounded by her family. Elpis was born in Lixouri, Kefalomia Greece on May 30, 1930. Elpis retired from the Syracuse City School District. She was a member of St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church and the Philophtochos Society. She enjoyed cooking, baking, music and dancing. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Voutsinas, Jr., and her infant child Mary Ann.
She is survived by her two Sons, Daniel Voutsinas, John (Trina Helmke) Voutsinas; daughter, Helen Jusino; four grandchildren, Alexandra, Ellis, Andrew, Niko, great grandchild, Eliana Jusino and former daughter-in-law Vicki Voutsinas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 17, 2025 from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 18, 2025, 11am at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, 325 Waring Road, Syracuse. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Donations may be made to Hospice of CNY.
