Emma M. Lamson, 91, of Seneca Knolls, passed away peacefully on Friday at the Sunnyside Care Center. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked many years for the Onondaga County Dept. of Social Services. Emma had a "green thumb" and was gifted in raising African Violets.
She is predeceased by her husband, Blaine; a son, Blaine Jr.; companion, Walter; her father, Louis; mother, Florence; brothers, George, John, Chucky, Joe, Jimmy, Willard, and Bobby; and sister, Theresa Reynolds.
Emma is survived by her son, Kevin (Karyn) Lamson; three grandchildren, Kristen, Heather and Kevin Jr.; brothers, Louie and Richard; sisters, Florence and Nancy; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7 PM and Wednesday from 12-3 PM at New Comer Funeral Home. Services will be private.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
