Eric D. Skinner

Eric D. Skinner, 60, of Nedrow, passed away on November 20, 2025. Born on August 9, 1965, in Syracuse, New York, Eric was the cherished son of Arlen Hoffman and Betty Skinner, both of whom predeceased him.

Throughout his life, Eric exhibited a strong work ethic, culminating in a retirement after 33 years as a driver for St. Camillus Rehabilitation Center. He made a significant impact in his community through his dedicated service, which he viewed as not just a job but a calling to help others.

Eric's passion for life extended beyond his professional endeavors. He had a profound love for Country music and an adventurous spirit that led him to travel widely. He especially treasured the moments spent with his family, creating lasting memories with his beloved grandchildren. A devoted football fan, he faithfully supported the Buffalo Bills, sharing his enthusiasm and love for the game with those around him.

Eric is survived by his wife of 38 years, Annette Skinner. He leaves behind four daughters, Melissa (Jermaine) Salvatore, Erika Skinner, Chelsea (Robert) Skinner, and Hannah (Leonard) Skinner, along with a son, Adam (Savanna) Skinner. Eric was also a loving brother to his sister, Diana Hopper. He was blessed with the joy of 12 grandchildren, who brought light to his life in countless ways. Eric is remembered fondly by his significant other, Rosalee Sperduti, as well as several nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, located at 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, with a service to follow. A gathering will take place after the service, providing an opportunity for loved ones to come together in remembrance of Eric.

Eric D. Skinner will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, dedication, and joy will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
