Evan Carroll, 66, previously of DeWitt, NY, passed away after a brief illness on May 20, 2024.
He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Jamesville DeWitt in 1976. He was an avid bowler. He enjoyed being on a team with his brother Brian and father. He enjoyed fast cars and motorcycles.
After High School he joined the U.S. Air Force, where he became a Jet Engine Mechanic.
After the service he returned to Syracuse and had a stroke, and has been in various group homes and living with the help of aids since then.
He is predeceased by his parents, Jack (Marion) Carroll of DeWitt; brother, Michael Carroll of DeWitt.
He is survived by his brother, Brian (Nancy) Carroll of Sherrill; sister, Patricia (Len) Pincus of Las Vegas. Services will be private.
