Evelyn F. Thomas

Evelyn F. Thomas, 93, of Syracuse, passed away July 3, 2025. Evelyn was born in Montreal, Canada on November 10, 1931 to Francis and Winifred Jordan.

Evelyn work in the insurance business as a supervisor for many years, then became an x-ray technician later in like and retired from Tampa General. In her free time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, ceramics, loved to go on cruises, and was a member of the Red Hats Society, and enjoyed socializing with friends and family. Evelyn was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by husband, Bobby Thomas; parents, Francis and Winifred Jordan; sister, Audrey.

She is survived by her son, Bryan (Margaret) Rae; daughter, Brenda (John) Adams; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild on the way; sisters, Rita Hamblin, and Diane Suwala; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may attend her funeral service on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 1:00pm New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, NY.

Interment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
