Florence Ann Kliphon

Florence Ann Kliphon, 87, of Cicero, passed away at home on June 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Florence was born in Watertown, New York on July 16, 1937, to Edward and Flora Clobridge. 

Florence retired from Paper Conversions Inc., in Dewitt, where she was a plant manager. In her free time, Florence loved being with her husband, loved her dogs and cats, treasured spending time with family, traveling, camping, cooking and living on the lake with the beautiful view of the water. Florence was best known for her care and concern for her friends and family that she demonstrated often.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Clobridge and Flora DeNeve; her first husband, Robert W. Shavalier Sr.; daughter, Debra Allen; brother, Edward Clobridge; sister, Theodora Horn.

Florence is survived by her husband of 44 years, Douglas Kliphon Sr.; two sons, Robert W. Shavalier of Bridgeport, Gary C. Shavalier of Cicero; two daughters, Cathy S. (Joseph) Dudley of Liverpool, Karen L. (Gary) Shavalier of Central Square; two step-sons, Douglas (Sherri) Kliphon, Jr. of Kirkville; Thomas (Patty) Kliphon of N.Syracuse; brother, Ralph (Sandy) Clobridge; 27 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. Funeral services follow at 5:00 pm.
