Frances M. Daly

Frances Marie Daly passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on January 7, 2026, surrounded by the promise of reunion with loved ones who have gone before her. She was born on February 18, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, the beloved daughter of Charles and Columbia Ferrara, sister to Charles Ferrara, and the late Anthony Ferrara.

In 1961, Frances married the love of her life, Lew Daly. Together they shared 64 devoted years of marriage, building a life rooted in faith, family, and service. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Syracuse, New York, eventually making their home in Fayetteville.

Fran was a woman of remarkable intelligence, versatility, and determination. Over the course of her long professional life, she worked in insurance and banking before embarking on her most meaningful professional chapter. In 1982, Fran and Lew founded Triad Technologies, a family-owned plastics fabrication company based in Syracuse. The company manufactured a wide range of products, including pool equipment designed to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. As CEO, Fran took great pride not only in the company’s success, but especially in the stable employment it provided to many Central New York families for more than three decades.

Beyond her professional achievements, Fran devoted herself wholeheartedly to serving others. She served as the director of English as a Second Language programs and volunteered with organizations such as Literacy Volunteers and Welcome Wagon. Fran had a genuine interest in people, especially those new to the community or from other parts of the world, and she took time to help them feel welcomed and supported. An avid traveler, Fran delighted in sharing her experiences and broadening the horizons of everyone around her.

Fran’s life was anchored by a deep and abiding Christian faith. She was a steady spiritual presence for her family and friends, offering wisdom, encouragement, and prayer. In her later years, she was an active member of Abundant Life Church in East Syracuse, New York, where her faith continued to grow and flourish.

Fran is survived by her devoted husband, Lew; her two sons, Lew and Mike; their wives, Pam and Lisa; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense joy and pride.

A gathering to celebrate Fran’s life and honor her memory is being planned for Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11 AM at Abundant Life Church, 7000 All Nations Blvd, East Syracuse, NY 13057....what would have been her 83rd birthday.
