Francis R. Mason

Francis R. Mason, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 13, 2025, in Syracuse, NY, at the age of 78. Born on December 15, 1946, in Mexico, NY, he spent his life surrounded by family and friends who cherished him dearly.

Francis was known for his unwavering support and dedication to his loved ones. He was the devoted husband of 57 years to Deborah Mason, and together they built a beautiful family. His daughter, Lori McRitchie, and her husband Bill, along with his cherished granddaughter, Erin Bezio and her husband Darren; grandsons, Brendan and Ryan McRitchie, brought immense joy to his life. Francis was particularly fond of spending quality time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

A passionate sports fan, Francis had a special affinity for the New York Yankees, often sharing this love for the sport with his family and friends. His enthusiasm for life was contagious, and he was known for his kind heart and warm spirit.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on May 18, 2025, from 2PM to 4PM, followed by a memorial service at 4PM. Both services will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212.
