Francis “Bob” R. Miller, 78 of Bridgeport, NY, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born on July 6, 1947 in Syracuse, NY to the late John and Marie Miller.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
He retired from Syracuse Housing after many years.
Bob loved going to local car shows, including The Nationals with his 1972 GTO. Also, he loved woodworking, craft shows, especially his cat, Snuggles “Snuggs” and spending time with his family. He enjoyed going to Disney World, Hershey Park and Busch Gardens.
He was a very caring person to anyone who knew him. He cherished the time he spent with anyone who would come and see him.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sandra J. Miller; children, Kathi (Dave) Wensel and Allison (Gary) Raum; grandchildren, Bryon (Raven) Wensel, Raquel (Thomas) Leota, Hope Wensel, Tyson Wensel, Audrey Lotito, Christina (Jack) Schirtz, Jesicca (Mike) Bartholomew, James (Amanda) MacDonald and Allyssa Thompson; great-grandchildren, Tomasi and Talia Thomas, Alexandra, Oliver, Ginny and Emily Wensel, Jack, Jacob, Anna, Amy, James, Ava, Noella and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 4-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cicero, NY on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 9:30am. Interment will follow at North Syracuse Cemetery, North Syracuse, NY.
