Frank J. Hansen

Frank J. Hansen, 90, of Mattydale, said his final “Good-bye, for now...”, passing away on March 7, 2026. Frank was born in Syracuse, New York, on December 5, 1935, to Junius and Hertha Hansen. Frank started his public service in the Army National Guard, then worked both highway and water patrol for the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department, as a Sheriff’s Deputy, retiring after 38 1/2 yrs., as their Fleet Maintenance Foreman.

He was preceded in death by Father, Junius Hansen; Mother, Hertha Hansen; Daughter, Jaclynn A. Russo-Tucci; Three Brothers, James T. Hansen, William A. Hansen, and John P. Hansen; Brother-in-Law, Earl Huntley.

He is survived by Three Daughters, Judith (Kevin) Wheeler-Kinch, Jodi Hansen, Janet (William) Burns; Two Sons, John (Beth) Hansen, William (Sheri) Hansen; Sister, Alice Huntley; Brother, Edward (Kathy) Hansen; 17 Grandchildren, Several Great-grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
