Frank Valentino, a devoted family man and passionate sports enthusiast, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at Francis House after a short battle with pancreatic cancer and renal failure. Born on July 20, 1945, Frank lived a life marked by dedication—to his loved ones, his faith, and the simple joys that brought him happiness.
A lifelong admirer of the Buffalo Bills and Syracuse University sports, Frank’s enthusiasm for the game was infectious. He found great pleasure in fishing and cherished spending time outdoors, particularly when the weather was warm. His connection to nature and sports was paralleled only by his deep commitment to his family and his spiritual community. Frank was a faithful member of Grace Assembly of God Church, where he attended services weekly without fail. He also took pride in serving as a head usher, a role through which he demonstrated his generosity and kindness to all who entered the church doors.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Diane Valentino, who stood by his side throughout their many shared years. His three daughters: Lisa Cramer (Eric), Michelle Parkis (William), and Emily Valentino. Frank’s legacy extends to his adored granddaughter, Skylar Loliscio (Patrick), who brought him much joy. He is also survived by his brother Gerald Valentino. In-laws, James and Elizabeth Mapley. Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Molly and Jim Braun and Cathy Mapley and Jeff Toth; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Fur babies, Ozzie and Ruby. Who continues to carry forward the warmth and kindness he shared so freely.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Gero Valentino and Rose, who instilled in him the values of faith, family, and resilience.
As we remember Frank Valentino, we honor a man whose life was woven with love for his family, his community, and the passions that gave him purpose. His spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
