Gary A. VanLuven, 58, of Syracuse passed away Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, he was a Supervisor at General Motors for 35 years.
He is survived by his daughter; Janine (Joe) Phillips, grandchildren; Tyler and Kayle, his K9 son; Keeya, two sisters; Barbara Hart-Ladd and Aurene Steelman-Berger and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Sunday at 4 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Friends are invited to visit with his family on Sunday from 2-4 PM, before the service, at the funeral home, 705 N Main St.
Contributions may be made to the Anatomical Gift Program at SUNY HSC.
