Gerald F. Boysman

Gerald F. Boysman, 89 of Clay, NY, passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2022. He was born on April 29th, 1933 in Syracuse, NY to the late Frederick and Loretta Somes Boysman (Boismenu).

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a machinist for 20 years at Gould Pumps in Baldwinsville, NY. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, home remodeling and involvement in church related activities.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Margaret; children, Sharon Angwin, Carol Matziaris and Kathleen (Ron) Silver; step-children, Linda Esterley, Brian (Georgette) Goldblatt and Maggie Rae; grandchildren, Carleena (Steven) Angwin, Elijah (Elizabeth) Angwin, Isaiah (Courtney) Angwin, Bethany (Sam) Miller, Beki (Alec) Birtcher, Jennifer Silver and Tim (Lindsey) Silver and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Jean Saunders Boysman; as well as his siblings, Fred Boysman, Robert Boysman, Arlene Pientka, Shirley Boysman and Helen Boysman.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 from 12pm-2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm. Reverend Ron Silver will be officiating.

Burial will take place at Phoenix Rural Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Northside Baptist Church, Liverpool, NY.
