Gerard "Gerry" R. Lowe

Gerard “Gerry” R. Lowe, 77 of Clay, NY, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. He was born in Syracuse, NY on October 7, 1948 to the late Raymond and June Lowe.

 He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

 Gerry was a Registered Nurse with Upstate Hospital, Syracuse for many years. He loved football, baseball, movies, fishing and boating with his wife, Maureen.

 He is survived by his children, Christina Lowe and Daniel (Kim) Lowe; grandchildren, Rayshelle Lowe Smith, Jake Lowe as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his wife, Maureen Lowe; brother, Thomas Lowe.

 Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 592 South Main St., Central Square, NY 13036 on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 9:30am.

 Burial will remain private.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Food Bank of CNY.
