Glenn Eastmond, 72, of North Syracuse, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones at Crouse Hospital.
Glenn was born on April 20, 1953, in Long Branch, New Jersey, to the late Francis and Nan Eastmond. He graduated from Keyport High School in Keyport, NJ, in 1971 and went on to work for many years as a manager at Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority in Union Beach, NJ.
Glenn was a deeply generous and kind man who valued family above all else. His home was filled with photographs of loved ones, a reflection of how much they meant to him. He cherished every opportunity to spend time with his great-niece and great-nephews. He had a lifelong passion for automobiles and enjoyed gifting cars to members of his family. Glenn appreciated artwork and antiques, liked staying informed about current events, and found great joy in caring for his many pets over the years—including cats, dogs, and his beloved parrot, Phoenix. Glenn was also a deeply spiritual person who spent much of his time studying various religions and philosophies in search of deeper understanding.
He is survived by his sister, Georgina Eastmond; his niece, Heather Adams (Aaron Ristow); great-nephew, Kyle (Kate) Spivak; great-niece, Alyssa Spivak (Wesley Luce); great-nephew, Liam Adams; and many additional friends and loved ones. He was predeceased by his niece, Heidi Eisenmann.
