Glenn S. Fargo, Jr., 88, of North Syracuse passed away on Wednesday at Elderwood at Liverpool. He was born in Syracuse on April 16, 1926 to Glenn and Mildred Fargo. He was predeceased by his sisters Glennora Wilcox and Gail Nyce. Glenn was a veteran of WW II, joining the Navy at 17 years old. He was a union carpenter all his adult life. He retired from Onondaga County in 1992 after 10 years there.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carol (Shelley) Fargo, 2 daughters: Suzanne (John) Moore, Jeanine (David) Hamlin, 4 grandchildren: Kristin Zimmerman, Douglas Moore, Rebecca Hamlin, Brian Hamlin, along with 5 great grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours and graveside services will be private.
The family would like to thank Elderwood (Birchwood) for all their loving care.
