Gloria A. Caiello

Gloria A. Caiello, 95, of Syracuse, passed away January 18, 2026. Gloria was born in Oneida, New York on December 15, 1930 to Leland and Doris Spencer Ralston. In her free time, she enjoyed writing poetry, connecting with nature, spirituality and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed her three cats, Ti, Kwan-Chai and Katniss. She liked going to thrift stores and garage sales hunting for treasures. One of her interests was buying and rescuing plants. 

She was preceded in death by her parents including her step-father James Ralston, her husband, Peter A. Caiello and children William F. Caiello and Christine Caiello Durawa.

She is survived by five sons, Robert A. Caiello, Peter "Tom" T. Caiello (Jill Scicchitano), James V. (Marcia) Caiello, Joseph M. (Kathryn) Caiello, Kevin M. (Holly) Caiello; two daughters, Sharon L. (Kevin) Welsh, Leanne M. (Kenneth) Plumadore; two sisters, Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Morey, Mary Jean Conover and longtime companion, Kiamarie Wolfe; 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.
