Gloria A. DelPrete

Gloria A. DelPrete, 86, of Clay, passed away November 17, 2025. Gloria was born in Buffalo, New York on May 19, 1939 to Carl and Marion Lang.

Gloria retired from PHP, where she worked in medical records. In her free time, she enjoyed bingo, crafting, cooking, baking, traveling the world with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She made some of the best cookies. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.

She was preceded in death by father, Carl Lang; mother, Marion Lang; husband, Anthony DelPrete; and son, Kenneth J. Karl.

She is survived by her two sons, William H (Patricia) Karl, Peter (Cynthia) Karl; daughter-in-law, Risa (Thomas) Ennis; step-children, Elaine (Bill) Sawyer, Chris DelPrete, Mike DelPrete; brother, Paul (Sharon) Lang; 8 grandchildren, Whitney (Eric) Ennis, Sarah (Seamus) Barry, Logan, Natalie, Conrad (Brooke Ensby), Lawrence, Zackery (Madison Langey) and Nicholas Karl; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Landon Ennis, Rory Barry; 8 step-grandchildren, Laura (Matthew) Delaney, Eric Delaney, Arianna Sawyer, Alexander (Tory) Sawyer, Carolina Sawyer, Tessa (Cameron) Sewell, Ally DelPrete, and Juliana DelPrete; step-great-grandchild, Zara Sawyer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, where funeral services will follow.
