Gloria Topolski, 82, of Syracuse, NY

Our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend is now at peace on July 13th. She was an

extraordinary person. She was kind and compassionate to all who knew her. She always wanted to help. Family was her “everything”. She was grandma extraordinaire, and no one else will ever compare. Her grandchildren had a special place in her heart, and many times she was their partner in crime.

She also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed bantering back and forth with others. She also loved music and dancing. We are thankful for the memories we have.

She was predeceased by her spouse, Eugene Sr, her parents, Emma and Edward Potter, and her grandson Shea Grome.

She is survived by daughters, Debbie (Ray), Cindy (Todd), and sons Eugene Jr (Joanne) and Joe (Concetta); brother Ed Potter Jr. (Terri), sister Cathy Jordan (Jeff). 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren with another due shortly. Many nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the staff on the memory care floor at Loretto for their kindness and compassion. We would also like to thank Brian at the Heritage, who always had a smile and a hug.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 4 – 7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St N. Syracuse, NY 13212. A burial will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 10 am in Riverview Cemetery, 70 Tappan St, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
