Harmony J. Dunfield

Harmony Jade (Murray) Dunfield passed away unexpectedly on the morning of November 27, 2025. She was only 50. Harmony was born on June 16, 1975 in Syracuse, NY to Judith Murray. She was intelligent and witty with a dry humor that had a dark streak, typical of her family. Harm had a beautiful voice. She was a featured player in Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof and other shows for the award-winning local theater group The Talent Company. She was a great cook.

In November of 1997, Harmony gave birth to her beloved son, Ben, and the two of them faced the world together. Then in 2011, Harmony and Scott Dunfield, best friends, became husband and wife and the two became seven, not counting more than a few four -legged family members.

Left to mourn Harmony’s passing are her son Ben; husband Scott; step children, Kateri, Erin, Sam, and Molly. Other survivors include her mother, Judy; sister Victoria (Ed); brother Gaetano; Aunts, Kathy and Karoline; Uncles, Dave and Dan; various nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Harmony was an organ donor and she’d like you to be one too. Otherwise, a gift to the SPCA or your local animal shelter is a terrific way to honor her memory.
