Harold W. Abram Sr., a dedicated servant of the Lord, passed away on August 28, 2025, in Utica, NY, at the age of 90. Born on December 18, 1934, in Windber, PA, Harold devoted his life to the ministry, serving as a Presbyterian Minister throughout the United States, where he shared the teachings and love of Christ with countless individuals.

Harold earned his Doctorate in Theology from the University of Pittsburgh, an achievement that underscored his commitment to faith and education. He was known for his selflessness, always prioritizing the needs of others above his own. His family and community remember him not just as a minister, but as an involved grandfather and great-grandfather.

In addition to his pastoral work, Harold had a passion for music. An accomplished saxophone player, he performed with a local jazz band, sharing his love for jazz music and enriching the lives of those around him. His hobbies extended to an interest in cars, where he found joy in building model cars.

Harold's proudest accomplishments were his family and the deep love he shared with his wife, Jacqueline Abram. They met in the third grade and married at the tender age of 17. He is survived by Jacqueline; his children, Harold (Francine) Abram Jr., Jennifer (Gary) Passfield, and JoLinda (Louie) Arevello; along with his cherished grandchildren, Tiffany (Wyatt), Mariah, Rosa (Joe), Joseph (Miguel), Raymond (Ashley), Angie, Andrea (Joe), Matt (Ashley), Christopher, and Christina; several great-grandchildren; and granddaughter-in-law, Shirley Hamm.

Harold was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanetta Meith; his grandson, Nicholas Hamm; his parents, Frederick and Elsie Mae (Pringle) Abram; and several aunts and uncles. He is remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for his family, and his lifelong service to others, qualities that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

In keeping with Harold's wishes, there will be no services. As we celebrate Harold W. Abram Sr.'s life, we honor the legacy of love and service he leaves behind, forever etched in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace as he goes to be with the Lord.
