Harold L. Sternberg, 92, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 31st.
Harold served in the Army Air Force during WWII.
He retired from the insurance business and finished his career at Onondaga Community College.
Harold was an outdoorsman; he especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
He also loved spending time at his camp in Redfield with family and friends.
Harold was predeceased by his wife, Jean (Sherman).
He is survived by two sons, Scott (Midge) and Mark; five grandchildren, Scott Gilbert, Susan, Heather, Jessica and Lindsey; thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, February 18th 11AM-12PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 12PM.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to a charity of your choice.
