Harry W. Brush Jr., 68, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away on August 25, 2025.
Harry proudly served twenty-one years at the Village of North Syracuse Police Department and seven years at the Village of East Syracuse Police Department, leaving a lasting impact on colleagues and the community.
Harry is survived by his wife Patti, with whom he devoted 27 years of marriage together. He cherished her laughter and valued her strength and support. He was a proud stepfather and father-in-law and is survived by Stephanie (Joseph) Blackmon and Kimberly (Anthony) Maine.
One of his greatest joys came from being grandpa to his grandsons Logan, Lincoln, Jaxson and Colin who brought light and laughter into his life.He is also survived by his daughter Rochelle Green, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry W. Brush Sr. and Ann Benar.
Outside of his career and family, Harry found joy in simple pleasures—walking, fishing, camping with family—and shared a special bond with his dog, Jules. His kindness, loyalty, and steady presence touched countless lives; he will be remembered for his service and the love he shared.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and staff at Hematology Oncology Associates and Strong Memorial Hospital for their dedication and kindness during Harry’s brave battle with cancer.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday September 2, 2025 from 3-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse. A funeral service will follow at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hope Lodge in Rochester or the American Cancer Society in memory of Harry.
