Heidi B. Blair

Heidi B. Blair passed away on August 26, 2026, at Crouse Hospital. She was born on May 29, 1962, in Glens Falls, New York.

Heidi will be remembered as someone who loved camping and the outdoors. Time spent outside brought her joy, and that love was a meaningful part of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Blair. She also leaves behind her son, Mathew Blair, and Mathew’s wife, Jeannette Blair; her daughter, Sarah Zelinski, and Sarah’s husband, Luke Zelinski; and her granddaughter, Olivia Blair. Heidi is also survived by her brothers, Jens Rice and Peter Rice, and by Peter’s wife, Patricia Rice. She will be deeply missed by her family, who carry her memory with love.

Heidi was preceded in death by her father, Donald Rice, and her mother, Johanna Rice.

Visitation will be held on September 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212, followed by a service at 7pm.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Heidi’s life was centered in the love of her family and in the happiness she found in the outdoors. Her memory will remain with all who knew and loved her.
