Hugh R. Calkins, 61, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday with family at his side.
He is survived by daughters, Charity (George) Lopes, Angela (Rich) Drappo, Melissa (Timmy) Gordon, Nicole (Steven) Drappo, Gypsy (Sean) Drappo, Rose Calkins, Shawn Calkins; sons, Hugh Calkins Jr., Jesse Boone; his longtime companion, Eileen Bessey; 30 grand-children; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Earnestine Fillman; brothers, Harlow Calkins and Gordon Calkins; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 2-5PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 5PM.
