Ignacio Gomez, 72, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2009.
He was a retired Staff Sergeant during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Air Force, where he served for 20 years. He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Brunhild Gomez; his children, Ralph Lewis, Michele Griffith, Lori Lewis and Judy Gomez; sister, Carmen McLane; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main Street, N. Syracuse. Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Onondaga County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
