Jacob Casmir Smorol passed away on May 20, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, love, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

He was known for his quick wit, love of joking around, and ability to make people smile wherever he went. Whether he was out on the boat, spending a quiet day fishing, or enjoying time with family and friends, Jake found happiness in life’s simple moments and the people he cared about most.

He lived life with a laid-back spirit and a warm personality that made others feel comfortable in his presence. Those who knew him will remember the stories he told, the laughs he shared, and the many good times spent together on the water and beyond.

Jake is survived by his beloved partner and wife of 32 years Beth, his two sons Isaiah and Angel, grandson Mateo, three siblings, close family and friends.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
