Jacqueline "Jackie" L. Jackson

1941 — 2025

Jacqueline "Jackie" L. Jackson, 83, of Syracuse, New York, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

She was born in Syracuse on December 15, 1941, to the late Jonathan and Pearl (Cook) Hall.

A proud graduate of Solvay High School and Syracuse University, Jackie dedicated her career to bringing joy to others as an Activities Leader at Van Duyn.

Beyond her professional life, she was an incredibly talented and passionate photographer, with her work once exhibited at the prestigious Everson Museum. Her artistry, however, was matched by her immense heart. Jackie was a fierce advocate and a true friend to those in need, and a devoted cat lover who opened her home to many rescued felines.

Jackie is survived by her loving children, Sue, John, and Tim; her cherished grandchildren, Brian, Tessa, Troy, and Quinn; her great-grandchild, Poppy Pearl; and her siblings, Johnny and Patricia.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 6, at 2 p.m. at Crazy Daisies.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her honor to the Cat Coalition of CNY. Click here to donate.
